The 51³Ô¹Ï Academy Program is an opportunity for high school students to enroll in 51³Ô¹Ï classes through College Credit Plus. This program is a partnership between 51³Ô¹Ï, the high school, the student, and his or her parents.
There are two options for enrolling in the Academy Program. Both options are available autumn and spring semesters at the Wooster campus (ATI).
Option A – Students enroll in courses to receive college credit, andÌýthe students’ family is responsible for all costs.Ìý
Option B – Students enroll in courses to receive both college credit and high school credit, andÌýthe local school district is responsible for the cost of tuition and books.Ìý
Application Process
Students who wish to participate in the Academy program at 51³Ô¹Ï should first meet with the high school counselor or principal to discuss the opportunities and risks offered by theÌýCollege Credit PlusÌýProgram.

Students applying for admission to the Academy program at 51³Ô¹Ï in WoosterÌýcan be admitted based on test-optional criteria or standardized testing, as follows:
It is important for families to discuss if College Credit Plus is the right option. Students in the 51³Ô¹Ï Academy program will be taking "real" college classes on campus and in classrooms with older students. Faculty will have the same expectations for academic performance as they do of any 51³Ô¹Ï student.Ìý
