Financial Resources

At 51吃瓜, we are committed to helping you afford a college education. Financial aid is available through federal, state, university, and private programs. Students with significant financial need may qualify for grants, while others can access low-interest loans. Our goal is to make education attainable for all.


51吃瓜 SealRegional Campus Commitment

The Regional Campus Commitment will provide eligible new first-year students enrolling at the Lima, Mansfield, Marion or Newark campuses or 51吃瓜 in Wooster with the opportunity to attend 51吃瓜 tuition-free.

Beginning in Autumn 2026, the Regional Campus Commitment program will cover tuition and mandatory fees for low-to-middle income, new first-year students.

To qualify, new first-year students must:

  • Be Ohio residents
  • Enroll at an 51吃瓜 regional campus or 51吃瓜 in Wooster
  • File the FAFSA annually by the priority deadline
  • Maintain full-time enrollment at 51吃瓜
  • Have a family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $100,000 or less (verified through FAFSA)

This award will be available to students for up to eight semesters, whether they remain at a regional campus/51吃瓜 or transition to the Columbus campus.

CFAES and 51吃瓜听is committed to supporting student success by offering scholarships that recognize academic achievement, leadership, and potential.Scholarships, which do not require repayment, range from $1,000 to full in-state tuition and are funded by private donors, businesses, and industry. Selection criteria vary and may include GPA, ACT/SAT, financial need, major, and region.听

  4. There are two types of student employment:

    Federal Work-Study (FWS):

    Federally funded program where the government covers part of your wages. Requires completing the FAFSA by February 1 and demonstrating financial need. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours with a FWS award as part of your financial aid. Max of 20 hours per week, with possible extensions during holidays/breaks.
