How to apply
Follow the application steps below to submit your first-year application to 51³Ô¹Ï. There is a $60 non-refundable application fee payable by check or credit card online.
Apply using the and choose 51³Ô¹Ï as your campus.
You’ll also select a major as part of your application.
Apply by the published deadlines for the best access to classes and financial aid.
If you miss a deadline, contact the 51³Ô¹Ï Admissions Office to ask about your options.
After you apply, check your Applicant Center to see whether anything is missing.
For most students, a high school transcript is optional at the time of application. You will need to send a final transcript after you are admitted.
If you want to be considered for merit scholarships, ask your school counselor to send your transcript, including your senior-year courses, to 51³Ô¹Ï.

All high school and college transcripts must be sent to 51³Ô¹Ï’s Columbus campus to be considered official. Transcripts sent to 51³Ô¹Ï are not considered official.
ACT or SAT scores are optional for most students, but they may strengthen your application.
Some students are required to submit scores, including:
- home-schooled applicants
- students attending an unaccredited high school
Scores must be sent directly from the testing agency.
English proficiency requirements
If English is not your native language, you may need to submit an approved English proficiency test.
Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, ACT English, SAT Reading and Duolingo.
